Installation Details: The Mid range unit it fitted in the stock location in the door with the tweeter located in a custom made enclosure at the rear of the door mirror, this helps to lift the soundstage and improve the stereo image.
The stock head unit was retained, however using JL Audios "Cleansweep" system allows the standard head units output to be corrected giving a high quality output without having to resort to cutting the dash of the vehicle to replace the head unit in todays modern integrated design vehicles.
The boot of the vehicle is home to the amplifier and subwoofer enclosure which is constructed from fibreglass and finish painted to match the vehicle exterior. The eclosure is protected and concealed from view by a sturdy grille cover and carpet. the location of the enclosure means that full cargo carrying capability is retained.
